The staff provided really good service. A lovely woman served drinks in the bar in the afternoon. Tony was excellent. He helped us at all times. Eve in reception was lovely. The grounds are gorgeous. They are perfect for a long walk, and the lobby area, bars, and restaurants were superb. Breakfast was as good as I have ever had.

The sunshine was beautiful . I sat by the window in the tea room and enjoyed it. The hand-painted wallpaper is very elegant. It was nice to see a real fire in the large marble fireplace. The scones, sandwiches, and cakes were excellent. I appreciated that the waiter offered a takeaway box for the items I couldn't finish (that was really thoughtful).
The cot provided in the room had a rip in the netting. I needed it to be in perfect condition for my baby. The side portions of vegetables and chips were quite small, given the price. A soft drink I ordered with room service never arrived (small inconveniences).

I noticed the air conditioning was somewhat ineffective in maintaining a consistently cool temperature.
